What do the volunteers from CAHCC Happyland do in their free time? They make music!
Meet HappyBand, a group of volunteers who came together to create a music recording for our upcoming online fundraiser.
Emer Brown lends her voice to a moving cover of “Zombie” by The Cranberries, a song with a strong anti-violence message.
Originally written during the conflict in Northern Ireland, “Zombie” speaks about how war and violence can strip people of their humanity, turning them into “zombies” who act without thinking or feeling. Though the song was written in the 1990s, its message still resonates deeply today.
The band features:
Emer Brown on vocals
Aymeric Lecetre on keyboard
Joaco Carrasco on guitar
Kim Fay Bolck on ukulele
Kris Eakins on sound, recording, and video
